University Safety Policy

The health and safety of staff, students and visitors is our highest priority.

This document sets out the commitment of the University of Liverpool to the best quality of health and safety, policy and practice.

It is important that you all study the policy and strategy now - it would be too late once an accident or ill health has occurred.

As Vice Chancellor, I carry ultimate responsibility for all aspects of health and safety within the University, but clearly I cannot do this without the full cooperation of all members of the University. It is my expectation that each of us complies with this policy and sets a personal example of good practice.
